London 1940 Evelin Parker is a fifteen years old girl who is nearly blind. The Germans are going to attack England. That's what a friend of her father said. He also said, that they have to move to Germany to feel better, to get a job and so on. The people that she'll meet there especially the one are in nearly the same situation as she is. The choice of going to Germany was maybe the badest of her life.

"I would love to torture you day and night but it won't give me as much pleasure and with what you know I can't just let you free or just leave you. It's such a shame, you were a really wonderful person. Maybe in another life we could become friends. It was lovely to meet you." Dottie is about to get married to the man of her dreams until her wedding day takes a turn for the worst.
