When James survives a brutal skirmish, he gathers the belongings of his fallen friend Tommy - and finds a photograph tucked inside a battered notebook. A young woman by a garden gate. Nell. Smiling as though she already knows him. The image stays with him long after the guns fall silent. / He writes to her to deliver the news gently, enclosing Tommy's unfinished letter. Nell's reply is quiet, graceful, threaded with a grief she carries without complaint. One letter becomes two. Then ten. Through mud and snow, through rationing and fear, they build a fragile connection out of words neither expected to need. She tells him about her garden and her schoolchildren. He tells her the truths he's never spoken aloud. They fall in love by inches, not declarations. When the war ends, Nell asks him, "Will you write to me from peace?" But James hesitates. He fears he is only the shadow who held the picture, not the man she has come to love. Weeks pass in silence. Then Nell receives a final letter with no return address, only a single line: I still carry the picture. I'd like to see the real thing. He boards the train. A tender, epistolary wartime romance about two strangers who find each other in the spaces between loss, longing, and hope.

After losing her mother to cancer, Ophelia thinks the hardest part of her life is already behind her. Determined to turn grief into purpose, she transfers to the University of Belmore with one goal: become a doctor and save lives where she couldn't save the one that mattered most. Then she meets Tobias. Cold. Untouchable. Morally grey in a way that feels dangerous - and irresistible. There's something wrong about him, something that sets her pulse racing and her instincts screaming at the same time. He doesn't just haunt the shadows of campus... he owns them. And the deeper Ophelia falls into his orbit, the more she realises Tobias isn't just hiding secrets - he's starving. Blood, desire, and obsession blur together as Ophelia is pulled into a world far darker than she ever imagined. Tobias is a vampire, and loving him means dancing on the edge of ruin. But just as their connection begins to feel inevitable, an ancient prophecy resurfaces - one binding Tobias to his long-lost love, Drusilla, in a marriage written in blood. Fate says Tobias belongs to someone else. Ophelia says she won't let him go. With grief, hunger, and destiny colliding, Ophelia must decide how far she's willing to go - and how much of herself she's willing to lose - for a love that might destroy them both. #1 in owner 24/04/26

Inside your mind, you tell tales, you find hells, you search for theirs. « I think naivety is the epitome of hapiness. I was joyful when I wasn't aware. I was hopeful when I thought they might care. » Sometimes, seeing what you might think is wrong within yourself can appease your struggle. I wish for my book to help your soul.

That struck his interest. As his enchanting, grey gaze leisurely made its way to meeting my dull, brave one I felt my heart rate increase and a burn begin in the bottom of my lungs. My tongue suddenly felt thick as our eyes met. A small smirk played at the corners of his lips as he looked over his shoulder at me. "Tsk," he shook his head. "Don't you ever learn, dear Ava?" In a split moment he was in front of me, supporting my body with one arm as he hovered me less than a foot from the ground. My breath lodged in my throat as his eyes scanned my features, the pad of his thumb running across my bottom lip. I could feel each indent of his print against my skin. Time felt frozen as he raked his slow torture over me. Another small "tut" noise emitted from his throat as he leaned in close to my ear. His deep and melodic voice, throaty with hunger then rang into my sole ear. "Never dance with the devil." *** Mature content. Violence and sexual content as well as strong language may occur.

They were sixteen when they went to sleep. They woke up a thousand years later as humanity's last teenagers, falling back to an Earth that healed without them. Craig Tucker hacked fate itself so he'd never wake without Tweek Tweak beside him. Now, they have one lander, a dying space station, and a promise made across centuries: together, always. But the silent green world below has been keeping the lights on, waiting with cookies, playgrounds, and children who were never quite human. A tender, hopeful post-apocalypse about love that refused to thaw, mornings after the end of everything, and a sky that never forgot their names.
