John is disciplined, thoughtful, and inexperienced. He's never dated anyone. Never had time. Never thought it mattered-until he met her. Jennifer is brilliant, quiet, and terrified. She's watched love fail before. She knows what happens when you let someone in and they leave. So she keeps her distance. She doesn't reply to texts. She cancels plans. She builds walls even when she doesn't want to. And John? He waits. He waits at the bench outside her office. He bakes her desserts with little doodles. He sends good morning texts that go unread. He gives her flowers every date. He sacrifices job offers and dreams because the thought of losing her feels worse than losing himself. But how long can devotion survive silence? How much can one person give before there's nothing left? A story about love that doesn't fix you. About trying your best and it still not being enough. About the quiet, devastating space between wanting someone and being able to keep them.

These poems were written for a real boy. Not a villain. Not a lesson. Someone I loved deeply-and still do. This book is divided into two parts. One is the warmth: feeling chosen, safe, loved in ways that felt unreal. The other is the quiet confusion: misunderstandings, distance, the nights where doubt crept in-about him, about myself, about us. None of this comes from hate. It comes from loving someone enough to feel everything loudly. The fear. The hope. The overthinking. The healing. This is not about losing him. It's about learning how love can feel both steady and fragile at the same time. Read it knowing this: Every poem was written with love still in my hands.

last summer, jamie and walker found each other - bikes, comics, laughter, and one kiss that changed everything. but love doesn't stop when summer ends. through autumn, winter, spring, and back again, they learn how to keep each other in the ordinary days: bike rides to school, poems scribbled in notebooks, sketchbooks swapped in secret, scarves shared in the cold. there are silences that hurt, and silences that heal. questions that scare them, and words they're finally ready to say. by the time the fields turn gold again, "boyfriend" isn't fragile anymore. it's theirs. a tender, heartstopper-soft story about first love growing steadier, about keeping what matters, and about finding home in someone else. character list jamie (17 → 18) soft, queer, tender boy. writes poems, hides them under his mattress. cautious at first, but grows braver in naming what walker means to him. one year older than walker. walker scobell (16 → 17) the "new kid," still carrying the ache of moving too often. sketches superheroes, hums unfinished songs under his breath. protective of jamie, even when he panics about being seen. braver with his heart than he realises. jamie's mum gentle, steady presence. gives walker a stocking at christmas "just in case." understands more than she says. trigger warnings; this book is soft + tender, but includes: queer questioning / coming out themes light homophobic teasing from classmates emotional conflict / avoidance teenage angst + fear of loss very brief mention of family instability (walker's moving background) (no graphic violence, no explicit content - still safe for younger teen audiences in the vein of heartstopper / ari & dante.)

"Where the Light Lands" is a gentle, emotionally rich contemporary love story told through alternating perspectives of Lyra and Aren - two quiet souls who find each other through fleeting glances, shared silences, and the kind of moments that don't demand attention but linger deeply. Set in cozy cafés, under soft rain, and within dog-eared pages of notebooks, it explores connection, vulnerability, memory, grief, creativity, and the slow burn of falling into something real. It's a story not about grand gestures but about the quiet art of staying.

The wonderful story of a graceful love between two. I've wanted to make an actual Gracy fanfic that didn't attribute to certain qualities I saw in other fanfics of the two: no truth or dare, no unrealistic over-excitement or annoying exaggerations, no horror movies (Stacy is used to blood and gore from "The Walking Dead" so really only the paranormal might scare her), no Stacy being scared of thunderstorms, no inexplicable rash sex, no fake insecurities that these characters don't have in real life (especially those leading towards suicidal thoughts), no dramatic deaths of relatives, no cliche resurrection scenes of lovers coming back to life,, a focus on the two main characters, no rush, no lemon/smut at least in my definition it won't be, and no unoriginality. This story will contain sexual scenes, I won't get straight to it though because I want this to properly develop and not be rushed. It'll be sweet and innocent, pure. I don't consider this smut, because so far the way it's been portrayed smut is filled with lust and not genuine love. This will be filled to the brim with passion and affection. With love and self-love, tenderness and relentless adoration. Enjoy!

Wincing at the stiffness of her shoulders and the thunder that continued to boom against the inside of her skull, Claire reached over to retrieve the folded paper. It was a note, she realized upon closer inspection, a note scribbled in very familiar cursive. Its message was concise: "You'll need these." Right. Jack. (Or: Claire wakes up after a wild night out. Jack is there, too. Part three of "and all that jazz.")

For therapy, his doctor and daughter Joanne accompany Sam to the Beethoven Museum in Vienna, once the composer's apartment. Will lonely Joanne, at last, get closer ... to her strange Dad ? Raymond Nickford has a degree in Psychology and Philosophy from University College of North Wales. Troubled souls, the lonely, his inspiration. Lives which could be ours when driven to extremity, yet lives which can triumph over despair, glimpsed through psychological suspense. Sequel to "The Lady's Highlands" Can be read stand-alone, but some references will not be explained. Her sister now married and settled in, Lillia embarks on her journey back home after the heartbreaking discovery that her own betrothed did not take their impending marriage seriously. Though she puts on a brave face for those around her, Lillia is terribly hurt as result of the whole affair. After a few days of travel the carriage is stopped by a band of highwaymen and robbed, leaving Lillia and her three guards horseless, penniless, and stranded halfway to their destination. As luck would have it, a devilishly handsome wanderer who goes by the name Felix Piper stumbles upon them and offers to guide them home through the shortcut in the forest. Perhaps what Lillia needs to adapt to the cruel world is a bit of adventure? Too bad her parents would never approve of her involvement with a rambling man who has a warrant on his head. Lillia will soon find that in matters of the heart, she has much to learn and even more for which to fight.
