When the Doctor tells Rose they're going somewhere specific, the TARDIS typically takes them elsewhere. Which is exactly what happens here. Except that they wind up in the middle of the Pacific front of World War II. In the middle of their honeymoon. And they begin to get shot at by the Allies off the shore. They run into the jungle, but two bullets hit Rose. Despite whatever the Doctor brags about, he's never been much of a medical man without his technology. He knows he has to get Rose back to the TARDIS, but he doesn't know how he will get past the gunfire. The Doctor has to face what losing Rose would really mean for him. An adaptation of the Doctor Who episode "Midnight" with Rose Tyler still a companion. The Doctor and Rose battle against the unknown Midnight mystery, watching as loyalties are torn apart. This story follows the script a little ways, then diverges. All characters are the property of BBC. I do not own them. The situations are based off those by the BBC, although altered by me. I do not own the cover picture, however I edited it.

Danger ensues when the Tenth Doctor takes Rose Tyler to the fairy planet of Elphame on Halloween 2006. This is a crossover between Doctor Who and Tam Lin, the ancient ballad from the Scottish Borders. It also uses plot elements from The Perilous Gard by Elizabeth Marie Pope (1974) and the movie The Wicker Man (1973). This begins in Season 2 of the reboot, at Halloween, somewhere between "Rise of the Cybermen" and "Doomsday." I edited it slightly now at the end of Transformations and the beginning of Safe in the TARDIS to address that.
