Throngs of tourists spent their hard earned money at the zoo and other gems the bustling city had to offer. And it all came complete with a large helping of that down home southern charm. But when the Summer of 2019 brought a wave of illness and death , the Birmingham people dreaded the news that came with each passing day. For Dr Richard Crenshaw, the CDC's fallen star, summer was a plague of heat and mosquito bites, and he wished only for it to end. Now that Pangea had arrived, summer, as well as the fate of all Birmingham, may do just that.
