Alisa Greer excitedly begins her doctoral program in anthropology when she meets the young professor Dr. Corwin Pierce. An awkward genius, she swears his eyes change color as a result of the light, and his cold appearance can only be a figment of her imagination. Yet as Alisa gets closer to Pierce, bizarre things happen on campus and at archaeological sites that all link back to him. Students go missing under strange circumstances and inexplicable displays of light occur at ancient sites across the globe. Frightened and fascinated, she can only begin to guess at the mystery of Pierce. But the truth is more disturbing than she can imagine... Unwittingly, Alisa finds herself at the center of an ancient alien conflict where terraformed worlds face apocalypse and rebirth at the hands of Watchers. Follow Alisa as she is drawn into their bloody history, spanning from Orion's Belt to the edges of the galaxy. Alisa will negotiate unspeakable loss, romance, and what it means to be human as she chooses between destructive rebellion and alien distance in the science fiction book, BELOW THE BELT. Within the walls of a colonial vessel, ocean water was once used as radiation shielding. Over time, the life hidden inside that water changed. Sea slugs developed sentience, formed a community, and came to know the enclosed waters between the ship's walls as the whole of existence. But beyond the sea they know are dry passages, silent corridors, and the remains of the humans who built the world around them. As the sea slugs begin to explore the interior of the ship, they search for answers about where they are, what happened to the beings who came before them, and whether their world is truly all there is. Their discoveries lead them deeper into the vessel, to stored memories, forgotten truths, and eventually the bridge, where they see a planet waiting below. From the memories they uncover, they come to understand that the planet is Earth. Beyond the walls, beyond the ship, are vast open oceans unlike anything they have ever known. With hope, uncertainty, and the remnants of humanity's failed return before them, the sea slugs make a plan to descend to the planet below and begin again in the waters of Earth.

Kassi Blake, a ballerina dragged to Mars by her parents, must solve the mystery behind an escalating series of disasters and thwart an ancient guardian spirit to save the colony.**** When seventeen-year-old Kassi Blake's father is chosen by the Joint Space Commission to help terraform the red planet, Kassi gets dragged away with her family to join Mars Colony 1. Mars is a sterile wasteland 33.9 million miles away from home and her dance academy. Heartbroken over sacrificing her ambitions of becoming a prima ballerina for the sake of her father's dream, she has no choice but to make a new life with the limited options available on Mars. She learns the excavation team is accepting applications and takes the opportunity to prove that her physical stamina and grit honed from years of ballet can translate into a new dream - success in one of the most challenging fields Mars offers. Kassi's assigned partner in hunting archaeological treasure is Noah, a former football player and grandson of the habitat's commander. He teases her new friend with the term of endearment, "Goth Girl," he's got a cocky grin that's too cute for his own good (and hers), and she's stuck with him. On their initial dig, they unearth prehistoric cave drawings and pottery emblazoned with a mysterious symbol. When the habitat's hull breaches during a freak sandstorm that vanishes as quickly as it came, Kassi sees that the walls of their compound now bear that same strange symbol. With the colony's commanders in denial that this was something more than a natural disaster, Kassi and Noah team up to unravel the mystery of the symbol and discover who - or what - attacked their new home. The next disaster targets the greenhouse. Then the habitat's oxygen circulation system fails. With dwindling food stores and air supply, Kassi and Noah must confront an ancient force before it wipes out the entire community. 1st Place winner - Science Fiction Category, Winter 2021 Four Seasons Awards.

Some things just weren't meant to be. And right now, it's seems like a unified Earth fits in with those things. BOOK ONE OF THE "Wrench in the Clockwork" SERIES. -------<>------- The discovery of Reconstutium propelled humanity into the Space Age, allowing both reliable fuel able to be created from it and the framework for interstellar travel. The leader of the Global Union, Kendall Pomrin, loved by many, has succeeded in keeping the Union together and expanding the reach of the union, including beginning terraformation efforts on Mars, for the past 10 years. However, as a surprise to many, a new candidate in the presidential election surges forwards, challenging and eventually beating out Kendall- stopping him from being re-elected a third time. This new president- Maxim Davis- seems to have sinister plans for the future- at least, in the eyes of those wronged by him in the past. But they are passed off as skeptics, ones to ignore the claims of. How wrong of a decision that was, only time will tell. And the implications are massive- for if this new leader truly has skewed intentions- it could spell the end for an era of unprecedented advancement and peace. One thing is for sure. Everyone, for the first time in a while- is uncertain about their future. -------<>------- Written by William Civitello. Conceptualized by Ryan Danby. Book 1 of 4: United in Uncertainty.

We are the product of evolution of the Universe and of life on Earth. We have evolved from unicellular organisms to animals, to apes and finally to humans. But from here, where will evolution take us? Today we spread through the Solar System and nearby stars. Tomorrow we will colonize the galaxy and the next day we will reach the edge of the Universe. And after that? Humans will evolve into a superior race called the Futurers, with immense power, able to alter space, time and matter, able to create new universes. It shouldn't be surprising to find out that our Universe was created by a group of futurers who travelled from future to the beginning of time and who guided evolution to ensure our and their creation. But is it so? This is the story of a man, considered by many as a prophet and by others insane, who launched the idea of Futurers in 2450, an idea that will culminate with wars and massive conflicts ravaging entire galaxies, as humans evolve towards 3800.

After the Great War of Ancient Man the Earth was almost destroyed. Poison filled the air, the earth, and the water, but life always finds a way. A millennia later the poison has mutated the creatures of Earth, including it's people. They are split into tribes that live on what's left of an inhabitable Earth. Carlie and Tave are from different tribes, that much is obvious when they have their chance encounter in the woods. In an unfamiliar world Carlie will discover just how important her own people are, but returning to them means leaving Tave and his world behind. **Note** I lost the creative train to this story some months back. When I found it again, it was a completely different story. The story is now in the 1st person, and the plot started to change around Chapter 4. Please note this version does have the Mature rating turned on. Cover made using Wattpad Cover app. I gave found using google image search.
