I put the gun away and wrap my arms around his neck. "I have something to tell you" he says. He pulls away and leans his head on mine. I feel his hands on my waist and a kiss on my head. I bring my hands down to his chest and look up to meet his gaze. "What is it?" I asked him. He cups one hand around my face and pushes my hair back with the other. "Ohm told me what you plan on doing and I can't let you put yourself in danger like this." he says as he looks back at me. "Why can't you?" I asked. "Because I made a promise, not only to Ohm but also to myself and that is to keep you safe." he says. "Well, I made a promise to Evan and I don't want you or anyone else getting hurt because of me." I say as I pull him into a kiss. I meet his gaze one last time before disappearing into the darkness. I hold back the tears as I hear him do the same. "I'm sorry Delirious." I whisper to myself as hear him walk away. I should have told him.
