Epeolatry- The act of worshipping words, particularly from books or novels. William Owen Herondale thought he was the only person who lived and breathed words, the only person to be fully emerged in epeolatry. He was in his own world, consumed by the pages upon pages of the books that he believed changed his soul with every word, if not every letter. Nobody could understand the world that Will seemed to create and love. Even the closest person to him, the only person Will had ever opened up to or expressed emotions other than disgust to, Jem could not understand this seemingly foreign land; he could only accept it as a part of Will. Because of this Will had no hope of ever meeting anyone with a soul similar to his and in a way he thought that this was for the better, he had isolated himself from everyone apart from his weakening friend with the desire to keep them safe. When he had first saw her, he knew that she was different to the others; from the crazed yet determined look that whirled in the storm of her vibrant grey eyes to jug she held in her hand, brandishing it as a weapon. However, what Will failed to notice in those first few moments was that the girl with the grey eyes managed to have a soul that was marked with the art of epeolatry to the extent his was.

The light blinds Theressa as she opens her eyes. The light passed through her thin curtains and forced itself into her room, brightening everything in it. Tessa's hands move to her side, instinctevly reaching over to her lover. Cold sheets pressed back. No William. "Damn..." Tessa swears and jumps out of bed, her back aching from all the practice she had gotten the day before. She walked towards the door, which was set ajar. She cursed again and wrapped her warm hands around the cool metal. The touch sends a shiver down her spine, and she smiles.

What happened after Jem turned mortal again? Will Tessa be able to face losing her love again? Read on to find out... This is entirely Fan Fiction, I only wrote it as I was unhappy with the ending in Clockwork Princess and felt like there needed to be more to the story.
