A relic Of The Past is the 1st in a 3-part series called A Drone Of Theseus. It's a rendition of Murder Drones by Liam Vickers, about a drone of Tessa, held as a slave in the Elliott manor, by a skin-wearing master. After the Solver leaves to attend some business off world, Tessa must overcome hopelessness, identity conflicts, and the guard Cyn left behind to watch over her, in a desperate attempt to escape, and perhaps someday, confront her old friends on what happened the night of the Gala. Uzi Doorman is a junior in highschool, she has no friends, not that anyone really likes or talks to her anyways, Thad(sometimes his sister) and her cousin don't count, at least thats what she tells herself, she gets okay grades, and sleeps in every class she can. She lives with her dad who is always talking about work, and her mom disappeared years ago, so normal teenager stuff! Until her junior year starts and new students arrive- surprising considering the town isnt THAT big, who'd move here?? Nontheless she doesn't pay attention to the news but she's forced to give her attention when she runs into someone.....
