Vivi and Jude escaped and settled into a mortal life, Madoc rules Elfhame, Balekin disappeared with the blood crown, and Cardan was spirited away to the Undersea by Nicasia. Ten years pass. Jude blossoms into a competent barista and a semi-normal human. She lives a life of quiet anonymity in the city and brews a damn fine cup of coffee. Just don't get on her bad side, or she'll poison your latte with decaf. It would be a shame if a certain someone snaked his way into her life again. Pun fully intended. Seriously, he's going to be a big ass snake.

Isolated, feared, and despised, very little is known about what they are and what they do, save one rule: They never meddle with wordly affairs. So naturally, this is a story about one of them who does.

TFOTA imagines, though mostly Jude and Cardan. I just finished the series so I'm on a book hangover, lol. Probably gonna write funny one-shots most of the time but also some romance, wars, etc. Also, this is my first time writing a fanfiction, so I'm open to constructive criticism. Jude and The Ghost are kinda a thing but Cardan has an opinion on that...

Nivia Greenbriar. The third child of High King Cardan Greenbriar and High Queen Jude Duarte of Elfhame. An enigma among her people and loved by her family. Her world is turned upside down when someone she loves is ripped away and she is exiled from her world. But she is her mother's daughter, and bloodshed is their trade. Nivia will not allow justice to go undelivered, and she will not take the fall for what is not her own fault. This is a short story that sort of acts like a reflection of what happened in Nivia's point of view. Mentions of blood and death. Not all characters are mine; many were created by author Holly Black. My original characters are Nivia and her siblings, Nivia's lovers (Jason and Allison), and the antagonist.

This fanfiction takes place in a period between the "Wicked King" and "Queen of Nothing" books by Holly Black (And so it should be known that all of the characters are hers). While we know what Jude was doing when spending her time in exile, no one really knows what Cardan, the person responsible for it, was doing. This story is my personal take on what could've transpired, including when he wrote letters to Jude, told from Cardan's very own point of view. I'll try to post new chapters as soon as I can!!! *P.S: This is not a gross love story.* - Alyssa

Cardan and I had been enemies since first grade. I always was the student at the top of the class, the captain of the volleyball team, and the girl who stood up for herself and the others. While Cardan was a spoiled little brat who happened to be the son of the biggest sponsor of the school, a boy who didn't do anything and still obtained high grades and acted like the owner of the Mab Greenbriar institute. We were different. But in the end, we really were?
