Six teenagers are forced into one caravan to win the race to the other side of the country, unraveling clues along the way to reveal the next destination. And they decide to call themselves: MAROON SOCKS.

When Nova's congested city life finally throws his father into a mid life crisis that affects the whole family, his older sister drags them all to a small town on Lake Superior for the summer. Nova meets Jade, who is optimistic and immensely emphatic unlike anyone he has seen before. To say he falls in love is an understatement. The two boys, Jade who wishes his town didn't move so slow, and Nova who's thinking too much and moving fast, conceive a plan to explore the world through the other's eyes.

He interviews the best of the best: captains of the school sports teams; highest scorers in the year; the most popular girls and guy’s in the school. Asher Coleman plays soccer. He’s not the worst, no, he’s not the best either. Paired up with his barely passing grades and being best friends with a popular jerk, he’s never had the pleasure of making the front page- or any page in the newspaper for that matter. Kaden and Asher never had anything in common, or anything to bond over, so it wasn’t like with a snap of their fingers they could be friends. At this school you couldn’t just move cliques- it was just unheard of. But when Kaden comes out, shocking the homophobic school, this could be Ashers chance to seize the moment, and embrace the newly acquired gayness.

Feng Jianyu hates Wang Qing - their school's heartthrob. Wang Qing is rich, handsome and quite intelligent even though he doesn't like studying. And Feng Jianyu hates it. Especially when he sees all the girls in their whole school (and some from other schools too!) going all 'kyaah kyaah' over Wang Qing. It irks him every single time. So with the help of his best friend, Xiaoshuai, they made a plan... which in turn backfired to hit him in the ass - quite literally.
