In a universe where Harry Potter was not the Boy Who Lived, James Potter and Lily Evans survived the attack. He was raised filled with love, despite the unique circumstances of his family arrangements. He learned to carry the Potter name with honor, even with his friends' urging to be more prideful of his position. However, on the evening of Harry's birthday, James gives the Potter Grimoire; with everything at stake, he opens it and realizes that his family is a lot more complicated than just Alistair choosing a house for you. What lies beyond the story is a tale filled with danger and relationships are put to the test. Whatever Harry saw inside the heirloom, changed him.
