Kate on the other hand, well, she doesn't want to go back. A politican or a ruler of a whole species life wasn't exactly on her life plan. She's dead scared of what will happen to Shay if they go back. What will they do to her? But the need to honor her family's tradition and step into her father's shoes is very strong, even though she knows her now-would've-been 24 year old brother trained for the job his whole life and was way better at it than her. Will the girls go back and face whatever comes their way, together, and go back to a Royal's life? Or, stay on the run for only God knows how long and try to fend off their families killers on their own?
