The crew of the Normandy is a unique bunch - different species that have teamed up to stop a massive threat from destroying the universe as we know it. What could go wrong? This story follows my three main ME ocs. Commander Athena Shepard - my canon Shepard. Long, curly black hair and dark blue eyes. 80% Paragon, 20% Renegade Lillith Caine - Alliance spy, expert hacker. Long, curly, dark brown hair and green eyes. 60% Paragon, 40% Renegade. Cielle Winters - Medical intern to Dr. Chakwas, training to be a doctor on board a warship. Thane is nearing the end of his life, and Shepard knows it. When Thane admits that he is getting a transplant Shepard can only hope that Thane will return from the operating room.

SPOILERS! Please only read this after you've finished playing Mass Effect 3 and then come join me in my cesspool of tears and regret. Set after the conversation with the Catalyst, with Shepard deciding how to end the war against the reapers. Paragon, romanced Thane in Mass Effect 2 and didn't romance anyone after that. Following the events of Mass Effect: Transcendence, an even greater threat than the Reapers has emerged. Without Shepard(F) in command, who will be there to stop the oncoming obliteration?

Meet the "girl with no name" a creation of Prothean scientists many many years ago to learn about "species lesser than them" and her "clones".... (there are 3 of them) She is an "odd" girl of many different beauties for she has the ability to look like ALL of those species.... but NO TRUE knowledge of them..... since the scientists themselves knew nothing so they couldn't "put it within her" this is HER tale of HER life..... Kolyat Krios finds one of the clones in a new pod during his "mission" to find out who he is.... he frees her from it and falls in love with her.... when he freed her he didn't notice that the other pods were full as well.... his eyes only concentrated on her.... Shepard and his crew find the other three..... one (the real one who loves Javik has since the day of her creation) he keeps on the Normandy with him the other two he "sets free".... one ends up in the Heleus Cluster of the Andromeda galaxy and meets Jaal and falls in love with him.... the other meets falls in love with Kolyat's father Thane.... as for the real one.... she finds Javik and they act on the feelings that they had for one another since they first met.... I am bringing many of the characters from the first 3 Mass Effects together as well as Jaal from Andromeda.... ( which I have yet to play and have only watched the Jaal Romance video on YouTube =-P ;-D) and mixing the stories quite a bit....

"Here we are at the end of a road, a road that's quietly caving in. We've come to far to pretend we don't, we don't miss where we started. Looking back, I see a setting sun, and watch my shadow fade into the floor. I am left standing on the edge, wondering how we came this far." After she saved the Citadel, everyone knew who Commander Shepard was. She was the first human Spectre, she was the woman who had sacrificed human lives to save the Council, and she was a woman to be respected. Most people don't know where Commander Shepard came from. They don't know about the cold harshness of a land just as fierce as its people, they don't know that she'd saved them, and most of them don't know her first name. Back in Skyrim, her people know when she goes missing. She loved them and led them, and then Artemis Shepard was gone, leaving them to fumble around in the dark once more because her destiny was bigger than any of them. She had promised Serana she'd come back home, but some promises are made to be broken. When she meets Thane Krios and he single-handedly assassinates three guards and Nassana Dantius before meeting her gaze, she realizes just how far she'll fall. (Kids in the Dark is the first book of The Dragon Commander series. It chronicles the events of Mass Effect 2, with a few references to the first game, along with references to Skyrim and the history of it.)

Garrus tells Shepard that he will be her constant while the galaxy around her changes. But she wonders if their friendship can really hold up to what this new mission will throw at them.
