You work at your apartment as a doorman to make sure no doppelgängers get inside the building to eat you and your neighbors. The job seemed easy at first since the Doppelgängers kept fucking up their disguises but lately...they've been getting smarter, so it's harder for you to tell apart the doppels from your actual neighbors. Which starts to make you paranoid. One night you come home and see your husband, Francis Mosses, sitting on the couch. Your paranoia starts to come again out of nowhere and you start to suspect your husband was a doppel..." a perfect doppel". Now the question kept playing in your mind... ~Was he actually human? Francis is feeling homesick, still not used to living in a new town after his previous neighbourhood had been ravaged by doppleganger chaos. Flashes of the events still haunt him, and it's only brought back a year right down to the day after the attack happened. Henry, the doorman of Francis' apartment building, tries his best to make him feel better, letting him know that he's not alone in his plight. There's trauma, angst, sadness and blood, but also wholesome moments between the doorman and one of his favourite residents. (This is also available on Ao3)

One of the girls in his class, Anastacha, has always been jealous of him/her and tried to undermine him/her at every turn, even resorting to rumors and lies to do so. The thumping of feet running at me, my heart breathing out of my chest. My eyes widening at the sight in front of me. I couldn't move, I couldn't breathe. I wanted to run, but I couldn't. Just then, It jumped at me. And I woke up. ((I could not for the life of me find any good Nacha and Francis fanfics and I feel like these two deserve more appreciation so I decided this. I hated how they always made Nacha so bitchy in others and it just broke my heart ;-; I hope this warms your Mosses-Mikaelys heart as much as it will mine<33 Enjoy!! However, the secret to your success gets harder and harder to keep, as the other residents notice strange things. The alarm is blaring constantly, as if the building is the doppelgängers' main target. What do these creatures want with the building? Are they after someone in particular? With the monsters relentlessness, how could they be sure that one hasn't made it inside? "... Where did you say you grew up again?"
