The Dark Brotherhood sanctuary has been destroyed, killing the Dragonborn's wife and leaving him in ruins. But after reuniting with his daughter after 5 years, Kaito embarks on a journey to become a Dragon Priest and relive the past to resurrect his wife and achieve his own prophecy of achieving a happy family... whatever it takes. Even if it means becoming the second World Eater. (Sequel to The Nightshade Assassin, but can be read as a stand alone. Sorry for the 8 year hiatus.)

The Legion calls for every able soldier and officer to defend the empire. Heimdal answered the call. Little did he know that, his destiny will play a greater part, and his actions will not only tell the fate of the empire, but of all Tamriel
