After Hexside lets out for the summer, Willow wants to explore the wonders of the world on her own. No one else. But, of course, plans change when she meets a completely different version of none other than Boscha. Hunter can still think while Belos has possession of his body and if there is anything that he is determined to do, it is to make a final stand against the man who would never have let him grow up.

With the success of the process to remove the coven sigils and unlock magic, Alador Blight (inventor/hack) and Darius Deammone (ex-coven head/drama queen) have to make their own decision as to whether or not to keep the brands on their wrist. In the process, they also have to make another decision...do they keep up the feud or do they admit that they might not just tolerate each other, but might actually /like/ each other?

Camila, Luz, Amity, Hunter, Gus, and Willow return to the Boiling Isles to find things are a bit messy. Raine, Darius, Eberwolf, search for ways to defeat the Collector while also trying to identify the people spreading rumours that the Day of Unity was a benevolent spell gone wrong. Eda, Lilith, Steve, and Hooty try to pick up the pieces of their lives and find a way to bring King home. When Camila and the teenagers reveal that Belos is, unfortunately, not dead, the mission shifts and it's all-hands-on-deck to figure out where he's hiding, what his next move is, and if they can get to him before he decides to strike. In the process, Hunter has to grapple with who (and what) he is and his friends are determined to help him reach his goals of learning magic, attending Hexside, and coping with not only the death of his beloved Flapjack, but all the traumatic events he's endured (including, but not limited to, near death experiences, being raised in relative isolation by Belos, and watching the only parental figure he had for most of his life splatted on a wall). Through it all, they build their family, help Hunter learn he can choose his own future, and discover how lucky they are to have found one another.

Everything seemed normal for Luz at the boiling Isles until one day a speaker shows up in her Demonics and Monsters class, Luz felt off about this speaker until they mention something about their goal to catch a human in the midst of their list of monsters they wished to catch. After the encounter Luz has been getting random anxiety and panic attacks as she has a feeling they have something to do with the speaker. Who will Luz fall to and who will believe her? I suck at summaries/descriptions but I promise it's a good fanfic. (This is our first fanfic but we put a lot of effort into it. This was written after 'Understanding Willow' aired but this could take place anywhere between then and before she faces Belos. This is slight Canon Divergence but not much changed.) Amity and Luz are engaged! Luz and co have been stranded on earth for 6 years and Luz and Amity have been dating for about that long too! I'd say they're about 21 years old in this fic. Anyways a week after getting engaged the couple sit down to hammer out the details. this meeting isn't very productive but they do settle on their outfits and their last name!
