Taylor said that it was up to us to pass these stories down, so I'm just doing as told. Walk through the stories of the characters that have the faces of stories you've walked through. Walk through a high school love triangle, myths, fairy tales, childhood stories, lost loves, and haunting memories.

Folklore is the eighth studio album by American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift. It was a surprise album, released through Republic Records on July 24, 2020, eleven months after its predecessor, Lover (2019). With production from Aaron Dessner and Jack Antonoff, Folklore eschews the upbeat pop of Swift's previous albums for mellow ballads driven by piano and guitar. It is mostly described as an indie folk, alternative rock, and electro-folkalbum while a few classify it as pop. Swift wrote and recorded the album during the COVID-19 pandemic, conceiving it as "a collection of songs and stories that flowed like a stream of consciousness" out of her imagination. This is my story,a story of my life being knotted to people that bring joy,anger, frustrations,hope and peace in my life especially my love. This generation, last, the next; all battle the same beast, only difference is the key terms in their page of the history book. Segregation has many looks, plenty faces but the undertones remain unchanged.
