This is exactly what happens in the show...only, with thoughts. I am pretty much watching the show and typing the dialogue as the speak. I am adding in what I think the characters are thinking.

What if it was Clarke and Lexa speaking? Not the rational mind, not the heart beating frantically, but that deep voice that rises when the world stops, suspended. I wrote what I felt, not with my hands but with my breath, like a whisper the forest keeps safe. A chance meeting-or perhaps not. Perhaps fate enjoys drawing paths that intertwine, like roots beneath our feet. Clarke and Lexa, figures carved from light and shadow, find themselves there, among the still trunks and the wind telling stories never heard. I imagined pain as a thin flame, one that doesn't burn but warms, and feelings as a stream that can't hold back, breaking through the banks without asking permission. Maybe there's nothing new here, and yet every word I wrote feels new to me, born from the moment the image exploded in my mind. I finally emerge from the cotton and flannel quagmire, but I feel the last night's hangover . Certainly my head my threatens to burst, but I try to drag myself to the bathroom to get ready for another stressful day. Today I have only an appointment, but something is't quite. The first patient of the day, is a young Marine returning from Afghanistan, after two years spent in mission. [...] I'm snorting, trying to tame the blonde forest which crowns my head. -Oh, Clarke! But ultimately, can Clarke and Bellamy love each other? (There is no City of Light or Allie in this story by the way. Finn IS alive still and hasn't killed the 17 people.)

I screamed When bellamy comes down to earth after 2200 days. He is so happy to see Clarke again. But something has happend. And his happiness turns the other way around.
