Annette is saved that night by Mikael, the Destroyer, who takes pity on her and begins to take care of her. And then, bit by bit, she becomes his apprentice, training as a hunter under his guidance. Their mission was to find Klaus Mikaelson and end him. But neither of them realized how difficult it would actually be, or where that journey would take them.
