This is my take on what happens after 'The Outsiders' ends - EXCEPT Johnny and Dally are not dead, I don't think I could write this if they were.

It's the after math, of the death of Johnny Cade and Dallas Winston. Angel couldn't take the death, losing the person she once was. All it could take; was for her to snap.

Its 1968 and Carolina has spent the last four years boarding with a family while she went to high school. As carolina is wrapping up her last year in school she is faced with the fact that she has no means to go on to college and must go home to the farm. Carolina is more then terrified at the prospect of returning. Carolina is more then dreading her return to her parents, Her parents will be expecting her to marry her child hood sweetheart as was agreed if they let her finish school. Carolinas parents being German immigrants strict and traditional will be expecting her to marry soon. Carolina is beginning to think her life will never see adventure, when her brother Joe returns from the service and asks her to join him on an adventure of a lifetime. Carolina jumps at the opportunity and adventure it is filled love , loss, heartache, and self discovery. Carolina starts to think it could all be a mistake as she tries to figure how falling in love can be so easy, but keeping it....

This story is based on the 60's. It is about a girl named Annette and she loses her Roller Skate Key. The story is her adventure of trying to find her key.
