I stared at the flurry of activity of the airport around me. Everywhere I looked loved ones embraced. Husbands and wives, parents and children, friends and lovers. All saying farewell to each other for an indefinite length of time. Long. Short. It didn't matter. Goodbyes were hard for everyone- unless you wanted to be gone. Unless you were me.
