Adi Kailash, as it is popularly known, is the smaller version of Kailash that stands as a holy peak in the Indian Himalayas. It has much spiritual significance for both pilgrims and trekking adventurists. This holy peak is in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand, and as such, is treasured as the terrestrial abode of Lord Shiva like Mount Kailash in Tibet.
