She had nowhere to go, she was supposed to stay with him, but now all she could think to do was go home, even though she only arrived a few hours prior. Everything was falling apart until her Uber driver, Shane Irving arrives. On a whim they end up exploring the city together. It's fun, and he makes it easy to forget what happened, but will it be enough to mend Dakota's broken heart?

Yet, one night while in her apartment in Paris, she receives three packages, each one adorned by a playing card. Before she gets the chance to open them though, she receives a call from a mysterious man who has left her a message. A message written on the windows of the apartments across from her... in blood. Roped into a game that she must play in the confines of her apartment, Ana has to put the pieces together of the clues she received, for if she does not, the safety of her neighbors will be at risk, and quite possibly, herself.
