In the time before history, the great king Osiris ruled the ancient land of Egypt throughout an era of peace and prosperity. Worshipped amongst his subjects, by his wife, Isis, and their infant son, Horus, Osiris led his province into a golden generation of technological advancement in construction, irrigation and cultivation, to name but a few. Yet, from the shadows of lineage and blood, Osiris' own brother, Set, secretly coveted the crown and with it, absolute dominion. Completing a dark ritual that invoked the everlasting spirit of the demon Sekhmet - the most feared and vengeful of all the pantheon, Set swore eternal servitude to the malevolent master of evil, in exchange for the promise of unlimited power over the sands of Egypt and ultimately, mankind.
