The Backrooms is a liminal space of 600 million square miles of nothing but wet carpets, the madness of mono-yellow, and endless fluorescent lights at maximum hum-buzz, leaving you to the grace of possibly millions of monsters. God save you if you hear something nearby, because it sure as hell heard you.

I am me. I am who I am. I live in my home, in my house. I am you, and you are me. Have you ever wondered what it feels like be in the Backrooms? Can you not get enough of the droning hum-buzz sound of old fluorescent lights, the dank smell of a moist carpet, combined with the stale smell of the stained, off-white tile roof and patterned tan wallpaper? Does the thought of clipping out of reality allure you?

Have you ever imagined yourself magically being transported to a never ending IKEA and escaping only to end up in an infinite room full of yellow wallpaper and the faint buzz of the overhead lights? No? Well this guy doesn't need to. New chapters will uploaded at least every other day, possibly more it's honestly just for me to see if people like it and if it would be worth making a new chapter or cutting the story off early.

Having no idea how they got there, Jasper is finding their way through the Backrooms. Filled with entities and possible friends, the Backrooms seem like an endless labrynth to Jasper. Will they be able to make it back into reality? Or will they be stuck there, trying to survive the dangers of the Backrooms.

This is a little project of mine. It's not long. However, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did writing and researching for it. The Threshold is a short story that tells how the Complex was created and its origins. Ever since the overwhelming growth of the world, especially the US, since the 60's; The decreasing amount of space and storage has been a problem. After lots of thought and research, the idea for the Threshold was born. However, the journey for this goal of having more space wasn't smooth sailing. The team working on this project spent years testing and developing the Threshold to eventually generate the Complex. They eventually got it right.
