Conrad just tried to fade into the noise. He wasn't trying to fix himself. He didn't even know what that meant. But he showed up. And for now, that was enough.

As sunrise appraoched the empty resturent Dakota cluthced the hot cup of coffee. The intrusive beeping of a dishwasher finsihing its cycle singnaled the begining of his day. Dakota, a young late high school student begins working at a newly opened prestigeous resturant in his hometown. With dreams of studying at an overseas culinary school, Grande's was an oppurtunity Dakota couldnt give up on. Between long hours, conflicting passions and troublesome collegues, pushes himself beyond his limits and tests his morals to get ahead in the industry. "Sarah hated us calling it grants, every staff metting she would comment, 'its not your ant's, it's not grants and it's not lance! We work at grands'. Even the customers had begun to call it grants, like maccas and woolies. In my opinion that meant people liked it, and the nickname should be treated as a badge it honor"
