Humans descend into madness in 286 A.D. when an evil entity and his Awọn ẹmi èṣu horde succeed in opening the third eye of everyone on earth. Naphtali and the Theban Legion are humanity's last hope to restore order. Pages of this manuscript - written by Naphtali, enlisted in the Legion as a humble servant - contain many holy adventures of the Legion; the demons battled, evil men thwarted, relics recovered and lost, and worlds traveled. The True Story of The Theban Legion: According to Eucherius of Lyon, ca. 443-450, the Legion of Thebes, Egypt quartered themselves in the western part of the kingdom until the Roman emperor Maximian ordered them to march to Gaul. The empire needed reinforcements against rebels from Burgundy. Commanding the Legion was Saint Maurice (Mauritius), Candidus, Innocent, and Exupernis (Exuperius), all currently venerated as saints by the Catholic Church. At the Swiss town of Saint Maurice-en-Valais, then called Agaunum, Maximian ordered the Legion decimated, condemning every tenth man to death for refusing to worship him. The men of the Legion swore never to honor a man before God, so Maximian's punishment of decimation continued until none were left alive.

Selene Arsinoe is living in the most volatile time in Egyptian history. Her queen, Cleopatra, is having a love affair with the Roman dictator Julius Caesar. Many Romans and Egyptians alike frown upon the affair. The Romans and Egyptians are tense, most unwilling to associate themselves with the other. But when Selene meets Alexander Helios, apprentice to Mark Antony, the lines between Roman and Egyptian blur, along with those of being loyal and being a traitor. Selene and Alexander form a bond so strong it's almost unbreakable...but will they last, like the pyramids, or will they be torn apart by the nations they love dearly?

Calais of Thebes: fearless, genderless, shapeshifting, even invisible sometimes. They are the child of Hades and a Thebesian nymph-woman named Carissa. They have legendary battles and a legendary curse. They travel throughout Greece to save it from fearsome monsters and devilish creatures. They are the greatest hero Greece has ever known. Calais is a character I created for a class assignment. I had to create a divine hero and write an origin story and a battle story for them, so the first chapters of this book will be those stories. I will need ideas in the comments for what Calais should do next unless I get an idea randomly in the middle of the night lol. Enjoy, dear readers!

Born and raised in a palace. Born and raised an heiress. Born and raised to rule a kingdom. ~ Makara is an Egyptian Princess. Daughter of the Queen. Niece of Egypt's saviour, the King. As the only child growing up in the palace, Makara is treated with absolute luxury. The people love her parents, and so do all the members of the court. At least, that's what she was led to believe. And then, alas - as is the unfortunate case with most untouchable, well-lead lives of joy and happiness - tragedy strikes. With the King murdered before her eyes, and her mother taken captive and forced to marry his killer, Makara escapes to the city, where her father lives. With the murderer overtaking the throne, Makara has, quite literally, the whole of Egypt looking for her, at the King's orders. She is a threat to him. She is a threat to everything. And now, as the new king gains more power and support, Makara must fight against all odds to stay hidden and rescue her mother. Thebes. Founded by the legendary Phoenician prince Cadmus, son of Agenor and ancestor of Oedipus. Land of birth of the mighty Hercules. Witness to the appearance of the Sphinx and its millennium riddle. And, more recently, target to Echidna's wrath. Her fury has become devastating, and not only in Olympus: villages were destroyed, folks were dying and children were not spared. The Gods alone cannot defeat the goddess fierce, mother to all monsters. After being expelled from her village, Zenia, child of Aite (goddess of delusion) and a human father, meets Kimon and Pan, both wandering monster hunters, recruited by the gods themselves to get rid of Echidna's creatures. Their journey will lead them to the depths of one of the most mystical cities in ancient Greece, and make Zenia realize that after all, it isn't hard to fall in love with a god.
