Percy Jackson is strong. Stronger than he should have had to be. People see that in the way he gives everyone a chance and how he can make an entire room laugh or happy. They see the way he leads everyone even if he's scared himself. The way he stays strong and doesn't break down. Elion, in every sense of the word, is new. He's new to having several siblings, being in a camp full of special kids, sword training and all. He's also new to his powers and abilities. Percy is outgoing, kind and oblivious. Elion is nice, blunt and seeing. Percy doesn't know yet that fate has tied him to someone like Elion, someone who sees through him in a way no one else does.

Kaminari Nariko and Denki are inseparable. Twins with a tendency to cause trouble wherever they go, they always lived to have as much fun as the could. That is until Denki gets sick and is confined to the hospital until a cure is found at the young age of ten. Nariko pushes on and is determined to become a hero for both herself and Denki. A few months later, their mother is admitted to a psychiatric hospital after she nearly killed someone because of an undiagnosed mental disorder. Their father is sentenced to 25 years in prison for a crime he never committed not long after. With medical bills, debt, and an empty apartment, ten year old Nariko gets to work on keeping everything stable for when her family returns home. Five years later, Nariko works two jobs, visits her father monthly, visits her mother every other week, visits Denki daily, and has a somewhat steady system that keeps her head above all the bills and debt. She passes the UA Entrance Exams and is excited to finally take the next step in becoming a hero. The world is about to be thunderstruck by the chaotic mess of Kaminari Nariko.
