It was a time of terror. kids were dispiring, crazy ginger clown was killing ppl, but tht didnt bother henry. only one man knows how to stop the terror tht plaged 18 yr old henry bowers, he knows that escape the abuse he sufers, he must betray his dum dad and run away with fellow 18 yr old, patrick hockstetter. He gives up his abused life and sticks with the one man who protects him. but in the barrens one day, he secretly acquires some sharp knifes. however, when patrick calls, begging him to come home, henry is forced to decide what is more important: stopping and killing his crazy and abusive father, or preserving his relationship with his romantic?

"As long as you're afraid I will fester..." the f in fester sent another downpour of saliva onto Henry who was still coughing out the remainder of the last drop. "..inside you, and like a parasite I will feed upon that fear until I make you become what you're afraid of most," It slowly lowered its head so its lips were as close to a quaking Henry's ear as possible, "and you will crumble." Henry Bowers was given a second chance at life, though he is as unaware of that fact as the one who gave it to him, but he feels..different, and he keeps having these horrible nightmares. A psychologist would call him traumatized. He would call himself stupid. Everything that once gave him a rush and a sense of meaning; his friends, the arcade, harassing his snivelling classmates, now just made him feel numb...that is..everything besides Bill Denbrough.
