The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas is a novel about Bruno, the young son of a Nazi officer, who befriends a Jewish boy named Shmuel during World War II. Bruno's family moves to a house in the countryside near Auschwitz, where Bruno's father works.

Ever since reading The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas/Pajamas, I felt very moved by the story and I did feel my heart break at the end. Anyways, here's a short story inspired by the movie adaptation of the book. In this short story, Bruno's mom Elsa (yes, his mom gets a name in the film) writes a letter to her son about how she felt when she lost him to the gas chamber. ⚠️ W: For those who haven't read the book and watched the film adaptation, there will be spoilers.

This is my thoughts, or hopes, on what happened after the book The Boy In The Striped Pajamas by John Boyne, which is probably one of my favorites. Enjoy!

The Boy in the Striped Pajamas (Narrative in Kotler's POV). For my English class, I had to read The Boy in the Striped Pajamas and had to write a narrative in another character's point of view. I decided to write my novel on Kotler and a certain part of the book that is never resolved. NONE OF THESE CHARACTERS ARE MY OWN. SOME OF THE PLOT IS FROM THE BOOK. HOWEVER, THE MAJORITY OF THE PLOT IS FROM MY OWN WRITING.

This story is about Bruno and Shmuel from The Boy In The Striped Pajamas. But I'm making it to be that Bruno and Shmuel lived, I just thought it would be cool to make a story of them. If you never read, seen the movie, or at least know things about the Holocaust then I guess this story isn't really for you. No hate to the cast of the movie and to the people that were in the Holocaust. But this is just about two teenagers in 1950. I love the movie and the book so credit to the author and actors, I hope you guys like it.
