Thebuilding Stories

The Building could never exist, and that is precisely why it must. (A novel that I'd been contemplating for a while, but it took NaNoWriMo to really get me firing on it)

Amira Danielle Fairmont, a warrior, a protector. In a world where no life is easy and no place safe, except for "the building". Amira was raised in "the building" and taught it's ways. Ruled by a kind king who was just, they thrived. But many rules were strange. Foreign even. One of the most peculiar was that the king chose your partner, the one whom you would live, love, work, and laugh with. For reasons unknown the king chose his son and Amira to be partners, even though they had disagreed with each other their entire lives.
