When a mysterious house is bequeathed to 21-year-old Theresa Mills, she is understandably confused. Things get even weirder when she visits the house and discovers that things are more ghostly than they seem. She learns that she is the Guardian of the house, able to harness and wield the power of the spirits within or contain it within the house. The temptation to use the power is growing, along with an attraction to her butler, who is not the stuffy old man she expected him to be. Can Theresa resist the call of the house, or will she buckle to temptation?
