Y/N a 16 year old volunteer from district 12 who goes into the 74th hunger games. She doesnt try to make allies and doesnt care what people think of her. She doesnt want to come out of the hunger games and almost everyone knows that but when she changes and starts to fight everyone wonders what made her have the change of heart. Did she find a friend? A love? This is my first book so I'm not sure if it will be any good but it's ok. I don't need to describe what "The Hunger Games" is, it's immensely popular. What I'm going to do is I'm going to try and pinpoint all the ways it could've gone. (A lot of them involve Katniss dead, sorry.) I'm not saying the "canon" story/ending wasn't satisfying, I'm saying that chance matters just as much as skill, especially in the Hunger Games, and there were many instances where moments pivotal to the story happened by chance. I'm just trying to give you a good read. As usual, all credit for original ideas and much of the text goes to Suzanne Collins. Enjoy.
