In 1971, twenty year old Emily Rhodes meets a young aspiring folk singer Emmylou Harris at a coffee house in New York after touring almost the entire year. The two struck a friendship and would later stay connected through letters and phone calls. By 1973, Gram Parsons was putting his band "The Fallen Angels" together, bringing Emmylou to join him in recordings and albums while touring and promoting his work in the cosmic American and country rock music scenes. Suggested by Emmylou, Gram calls Emily and asks her to join his band. She agrees, and goes on her journey to help bring country and rock and roll music together while tangled up in questions, fights, friendship, love, and everything in-between. A story about acceptance and growth, this allows Emily and Emmylou's friendship to grow into something more over the next several months.

Karen feels like their mother favors Richard over her. Being a shy girl who would always rather stay out of the limelight. But what if she beat her eating disorder? What if she recovered and survived? This is a story I made up about if Karen got over her eating disorder and all was truly well.
