On the day of their selection, kids are given increased knowledge, strength, speed, or beauty. Sage Everett, on the other hand, was given the gift of electricity. A gift she chose to misuse. Now sixteen, Sage destroys entire planets on her path to galactic destruction. On one planet, she meets an attractive stranger who tries to set her straight. Will they succeed? Abigail, Wayne, Elliot, and Adira, four teens who are complete strangers all notice a strange light and even creatures. Following or interacting with these creatures lead to some pretty extreme changes to their once normal life. Their life goes from bland and boring to world saving and butt kicking.

Well, I didn't really know I was creating a story. I mean, obviously, I knew I was telling a story, but I never really realized it would turn into this whole novel. I like it though. Like, it's the worst year of my life and all, but it can be good to look at that stuff sometimes, I suppose. I don't know. My name is Nolan by the way, and this is the story of my first love, my struggles in life, and I guess just everything that happened this year. I don't really know what else to say and I don't really want to get into all of it that much any way. Just read the story I guess. Everything you need to know is in there. Oh yeah, one more thing. This book might be around a PG-13 rating because I swear and stuff about as much as your average teenage boy does. Also I have some pretty stupid friends who do some pretty stupid things that contain: "drug, alcohol, and mild romantic themes."

She befriends, she leaves, she moves on that's what happens, but this time Karma has alot to settle with her, after two years her past comes back from the grave to haunt her and this time the devil incharge is the one who loved her once and is now out for revenge. 4038 was the year the Earthen sky split open. The once complete blue pureness of the world above the living was spattered with a large black dot making it resemble a ruined painting. People were scared of the black hole fearing the idea of a vast nothingness as their hungry neighbor; a neighbor threatening to eat them whole and drag them into the unknown that was the sole base of a person's fear. The fear that squeezed the human race like a snake squeezes it prey didn't last long. After numerous calculations and in depth studying, scientists discovered that the black wasn't growing nor would it be getting anywhere close enough to consume the planet. They thought they were safe. The human race was out of harm's way. But it wasn't the black hole that would be threatening them, it was what the darkness had brought with it. Those born from a black hole and the darkness within it. Those were the creatures they should have feared.

Have you ever heard the phrase don't judge a book by the cover? Yes, well that little phrase bloomed in mind as this short story. I hope you enjoy it!
