But after a close call from death, Rhiannon starts to see her spirit animal everywhere. With the authorities aware that something is amiss, Rhiannon finds herself in a fight for her life to hide her secret. But when Rhiannon stubbles upon a group just like her who see their guardians all the time, will she be able to gain their trust to get their help? Or will she be in even more danger than she realised.

People were scared of the black hole fearing the idea of a vast nothingness as their hungry neighbor; a neighbor threatening to eat them whole and drag them into the unknown that was the sole base of a person's fear. The fear that squeezed the human race like a snake squeezes it prey didn't last long. After numerous calculations and in depth studying, scientists discovered that the black wasn't growing nor would it be getting anywhere close enough to consume the planet. They thought they were safe. The human race was out of harm's way. But it wasn't the black hole that would be threatening them, it was what the darkness had brought with it. Those born from a black hole and the darkness within it. Those were the creatures they should have feared.

As I speculated, they are all asleep in their respective rooms. When I reached the door to my room, I placed my hand on the door knob and sigh heavily ~ releasing the breath I unconsciously held. I opened the door and Surprise! Surprise!! What I saw afterwards was nerve wracking! I really didn't see this coming. I couldn't believe my eyes! Surely none of Jane's teachings prepared me for this.
