I come from a country that has produced marvellous women like India Nooyi. .. Kalpana Chawla....Indira Gandhi.. yet fails to send half of its female population to school.. I come from one of the world's largest democracy yet helplessly watch a girl being married off at fifteen every now and then.... I come from a rich land where poor reside and this is MY story... IT is the story of every single girl in our land... YES, I MAY GET TO STUDY... Okay, I may not be Married off at thirteen ... No uncle may have harassed me but in dark corners of my country someone somewhere is!!!! I firmly believe things will change for the good..... I firmly believe we shall walk out the darkness and Even while i amsorrrounded by darkness... I WILL NOT LOSE FAITH!! I AM A 16 YEAR OLD GIRL Living in India. .. proud to call this country my home and this is MY story!!
