It was Vinay's first day as the police Detective, and he was certainly looking forward to take up his first case, but he didn't expect that his first case, would apparently would be his last. (A short story for the contest)

It finally seems as if the two could spend their whole lives together, until circumstance rips them apart. Heartbroken, Thomas attempts to move on during his teenage years, but another girl won't let him. He finds her sudden interest in him disturbing, as well as, incredibly annoying. Everything about her reminds him of Christina, and it only makes him want to push her away more. This doesn't deter the girl one bit, she's determined to be friends with the prickly boy. Life may be fleeting, but friendship and love outlast the very stars in this quaint little story about souls fated to meet. But a constant sense of Anxiety and Dread follows him around, and after he travels to another realm to discover his Royal status, he must make a difficult decision. Thinking about her flaws makes her wish that she shouldn't be living in this world when all she receive from other people instead of compliments but judgement. Then another problem comes upon her when she found out that she's adopted. The feeling of anxiety and anger creeps to her whole body so she finally decided to walk out and go out to search for her family, getting the details from her foster parents. Madeline, the flawed girl, had gone for a search to her parents. *a Disney Princess movie inspired.*

This short story takes place during exactly 59 minutes. It is about mental health. Specifically when one's mental health deteriorates to the point of suicidal thoughts. The main character in this story has no name and technically no gender (although the character is fairly feminine). This story explores the thoughts of hopelessness and worthlessness many people feel on a daily basis. I won't divulge much more than that, as I might spoil the story. Hope you enjoy!
