They may even consider hosting their mortal enemy, and find that their only wrongdoing worth fighting over be that they did not bring an offering for the host. But there is one rule that no Faerie, Seelie or Unseelie, changeling child nor solitary Fey, may break: they cannot lie. Mortals brought to Faerieland through bargains and tricks refrain due to respect, but the Fair Folk of the forest refrain for an entirely different reason. They cannot lie. Magic warps their tongue, dries it out as if it were sandpaper, and leaves the sour taste of rotten fruit in their mouth. However, do not pity them, as they can still deceive and trick just as well, if not better, than those whose tongue lies freely. - Or, it's really, really hard to keep your feelings a secret when you cannot lie. Odessa is a prophet, approaching her 21st birthday. On her 21st birthday, she will be sent to the palace of stone to attempt to finish the prophecy that froze part of her world in time, and stone for the past 400 years. But when she releases two knights from the old world, is plagued by visions, and accidentally forms an alliance with an assassin of ash and smoke, she starts to wonder if maybe there's more to the Kingdoms past then she was told.

TFOTA imagines, though mostly Jude and Cardan. I just finished the series so I'm on a book hangover, lol. Probably gonna write funny one-shots most of the time but also some romance, wars, etc. Also, this is my first time writing a fanfiction, so I'm open to constructive criticism. Are you willing to risk that?" "I am." The Cruel Prince fanfiction! Takes place after The Wicked King. Jude is exiled to the mortal world, forced out of her life and her home in Faerie. Will she be able to make sense of what was done to her and piece together the enormous puzzle before her? Or has she given up on everything entirely? These are not necessarily my exact predictions of where Queen of Nothing will pick up when it comes out next year, but there are elements to this story that I think could play a huge role in the third book in the series. Jude and Cardan's story is far from over. They are finally beginning to realize nothing lasts forever. Especially peace. Jude is having recurring nightmares along with horrible PTSD. She will do anything to keep Cardan safe and with her. But being the King and Queen of Elfhame comes with casualties. Sometimes even deathly.
