Jude and Cardan go to the human world to sort out some mess with Madoc. To their surprise, the world they return to is not the world they knew. The skies are grey, and the houses are nothing more than blocks of metal. They look at each other with questions on their eyes, waiting to be answered. Walking in the endless desert, they find a place with bluer skies and nice houses. What is there to follow?

A story following the life of Jude Duarte-Greenbriar and Cardan Greenbriar as monarchs of Elfhame and lovers. This story happens after the trilogy "folk of the air", I have NOT finished reading the other two books, "The stolen heir" and the "The prisoner's throne" sooooo if anything goes against of what happens in those books I'm so so so sorry!!! This is what I hope happened after "The queen of nothing", have a good reading session!

This is a half-assed one shot about Jude waking up to Cardan sleeping soundly next to her. Haven't written in a while so this won't be good but I've thinking about rereading the cruel prince and wanted to write a little scene between Jude and Cardan after the events of the queen of nothing. Mind you I haven't actually read the book in like a year so excuse any inaccuracies and out of character stuff. a story regarding malachi barton our loving movie star in the world of the cruel prince by holly black! malachi is the older brother of jude! so judes father (biological) had a family before hers, that was malachis! he left to start anew with judes family, but then passed away taking jude, vivienne, and taryn, malachi knew of them all but he didn't know what happened to them, years later he was a famous actor, he heard little of elfhame he and vivienne reunited, and she introduced her girlfriend and oak to malachi, but taryn and jude never knew of him, malachi so then asked vivienne to bring him to faerie, at first vivienne was hestiant. but she did! this doesn't have a specific time period, all i know is it is after the cruel prince and somewhere between the wicked king and the queen of nothing.
