Theculling Stories

O V E R P O P U L A T I O N The population of the Earth is overflowing. There's not enough room left on the planet for any more humans. The scientists from NASA had planned on using the moon to start new colonies, but it's too late now. The Earth is all out of room and death is creeping up everywhere. G O V E R N M E N T Declaring a worldwide state of emergency government officials and leaders from all over the world have banded together to come up with a solution to prevent an apocalypse. The only thing they can think of that can take effect immediately is to simply thin down the population; kill off the weak humans who waste space on our planet. T H E G A M E S The leaders, with no other choice, decide on killing off the majority of the generation with the most people: the generation of teenagers. The leaders agreed that only the strongest and smartest teens should make up their generation's part of the population, so they created a sort of game to thin their generation. More commonly known as the Culling, the deathly games put on by the world leaders pull in thousands of teens every year to participate in dangerous challenges engineered to leave only the best teenagers to build a stronger world. For the teenagers, the Culling is their worst nightmare. Who will survive? Who will not? This year is the 10th anniversary of the Culling; things are about to get deadly.

jack, mark, Bob, and wade get pulled into the world of the culling ( the culling is like hunger games but there are teams of 4 and there is no center beginning part you spawn in a random location and you have to make your way to the center ) they need to use their sheer skill as a team to last through this hell hole

Over one million people commit suicide all around the world each year, that is a single death every 4o seconds and if you calculate it to one day, 3,ooo people are taking their life daily. To think that in the time it has taken me to write these two sentences 3 people have already passed who won't ever be able to return.

I am not afraid of the culling. Or at least this is what I have told myself. It happens every couple of years and it is a part of life. Without it humanity would have over run our planet and we would all be starving as resources would be quickly diminished. But that is what I believed before I was one of the chosen
