Short scary story

Ivory was living just fine by herself in her little home in Toronto, Canada. She heard weird things every now and again in the dark, but recently, things have gotten worse. Brick, her cat, getting locked in rooms, sentences written in blood on the mirrors, things get smashed and ruined, and rooms being torn apart. She came home from work one day with her best friend, Gray Wood, and he began coming every night to help clean things up. Every single night was like this when she returned home. Something was ruined. What was she supposed to do about it?

When parents leave, the invader arrives

The dark, it's such a simple little thing. Darkness is nothing more than the absence of light, yet so many fear it like death. You can't blame them though, the dark is very much alive. It is unbridled and shrewd, devouring anything that enters its depths. It is where the little things you have nightmares about lurk. They watch in patience from the shadows, anticipating your every move, eagerly wishing for you to enter their realm, their domain, their world... the darkness. Because once you're in, it is very likely you may never return.

The Dark is where we belong. Where we're ourselves.
