I absolutely love the Shadowhunter book series and have been wanting to write a story based on Kit/Ty. They won't be Shadowhunters in this but it will be an AU where they live ordinary lives. Ages have also been changed as well. 17 year old Kit Rook has lived a life on the street involved in nothing but scams and scandals but when James and Lucie Herondale summon him one night he is taken to Blackthorn Manor where he grows close with 17 year old Tiberius Blackthorn a quiet, shy young boy with a love for music and Sherlock Holmes. Ty is grieving at the loss of his twin sister Livvy but having Kit in his life suddenly makes him feel like living again. Her fate for redemption with Emma all leads by the mentoring of Clary 7 months after the New York girl saved the Nephilim for the second time from her family. During this time, the cold boy in the Miami Institute grows closer to her as she discovers who she is.

This fanfiction follows Sophie Collins and Gideon Lightwood through the events of their lives after The Infernal Devices. After the Dark War, the Clave made it it's mission to gather as many new Shadowhunters as they could. Amongst the new recruits, Dollys Silverwine and Aida Nightgold made a name for themselves as the Ascendants who brought back the Venezuelan Conclave. However, with a good reputation comes great consequences. An enemy rises in the path of these warriors that will put in danger not only their lives as new Nephilim, but much more. There, she discovers all of the mysteries of the mundane world: pasta, beds, phones and nercomancy. Well . . . Maybe not the last one.

Starts after Queen of air and darkness. Jace and Clary are throwing an engagement party. The reunion that follows brings Kit Herondale and Ty Blackthorn together after the events of QOAAD. Follow them as they try to build their friendship ( and more ) again, after it being strained last year due to a certain necromancy incident. SPOILER ALERT FOR THE DARK ARTIFICES. I will try to stick to the canon story but sometimes change things to fit the plot .
