14 year old Emily Adkins takes a test that will change the rest of her life. Emily has to live with epic changes to her life. Being smart has a price, and someone has to pay. No one knows, and no one must know. But, being smart isn't what you think.

This story is based on the game Persona3 Portable.. In this story, you'll assume the role of a high school student, who was orphaned as a young girl, and has recently transferred to Gekkoukan High School on Port Island, where she is attacked by a Shadow. The assault awakens her Persona, Orpheus, her only chance at defeating this creature of the night. She learns of the Dark Hour, a hidden time that exists between one day and the next, swarming with Shadows that have been slowly claiming victims known as The Lost poor souls who have inexplicably been turned into walking zombies. Under the supervision of school chairman Yoshida Ikutsuki, she joins her new friends in confronting this evil threat.

An extra hour occurs during midnight once a month. Only a handful of people experience this unusual hour. This is called The Dark Hour. •"You think I don't know how this ends? Of course I know how this ends! I just forgot how it started."•
