The only reason Gally ever broke was because the world left him no choice. Never able to muster the confidence to say what he wanted before losing his best friend, WICKED saw their chance to use him and they did. Once free from WICKED's grasp after leaving the maze, Gally is assured there's nothing left for him. That is, until someone named Lawrence slides a photograph across a table. Then, instead of retreating inside of himself, he chooses to become the opposite of his past and to let all the wrongs done to him fade away. His mission then on out is to help his friends and eventually get Y/N home. His friends left him to die once. Gally then swore to never do the same to someone else. All characters, world/setting and other parts of story related to The Maze Runner belong to James Dashner.

This person created the 'Lost Glader' storyline, and I am simply putting my own spin on it, but it will have many elements borrowed from their storyline of Newt x Y/N POVs. The box gained more speed and the sirens grew louder. Red and green lights flashed above my head and I saw the ceiling getting closer. The box screeched to a halt, barely avoiding crashing in to the ceiling of the tunnel I was in. I sat in silence, my heart racing. The light went out and I was surrounded by darkness. "Hello? Is there anyone there?" Gears squealed and groaned, and the ceiling began to open. A light poured in from the widening crack, and I covered my eyes instinctively, crawling back until my back hit a wall. The doors opened fully and I heard voices. "What is it?" "Move out of the way, shuck-face! I can't see!" "Is it another person?" "Two Greenies in two days!?" "I think it's a girl!" "You're crazy, slinthead! Why would they send a girl?" Then a more authoritative voice silenced the remarks. "Move, ya shanks! Lemme get in there to get 'em out of the bloody Box." I heard a thud and the box swayed. The footsteps came closer to me and I uncovered my eyes. A boy looked down at me, his brown eyes wide in surprise. "Bloody hell! It's a girl!" He said and stepped closer to me. I pressed myself back against the wall. Surprised shouts came from above. "Why the shuck is there a girl?" "Who are you? And where am I? Where did you take me?" I shouted and pushed myself farther away from him. "The name's Newt, Greenie. Welcome to the Glade."
