Such as finding out why they were placed in the Maze in the first place, or confronting the person who betrayed them. Most of all, having to choose who to save and who to trust in the end. Hi I wrote this fanfic first for myself but I thought why not share it on wattpad for those who want to read it as well? Basically it's a Newt fanfiction set in the Maze Runner Movie Franchise. In this fanfic, Newt and Cara are already in a relationship but their situation threatens to pull them apart. Will their love stand the trials brought about by a dying world? Short Summary Newt, Cara, and the rest of the group are rescued from the maze. Cara is given her memories back right before her, Newt and the group escape the WICKED facility. Her loyalty to her friends wavers but she soon realizes that she no longer wants to work for WICKED despite Teresa trying to convince her otherwise. They try to escape the grasp of WICKED as they make their way through the Scorch in search of the Right Arm. Cara struggles with personal issues and traumas that have been brought back along with her memories. Newt tries to hold her hand every step of the way. When Gally gets left behind by the gladers, a group fighting against WCKD finds him and patches him up. In that group there's a girl, Finley, who's brother was taken by WCKD years ago, she thinks Gally might just be her ticket back to him - or at the very least help her get some revenge. Some bits I made up to fill in the gap between the end of the maze runner and the death cure, but mostly follows the plot of the last movie.
