Little by little, with staged accidents which her daughter gladly played the part, their love, trust, and respect for you disappeared. The pair always played the victim, accusing you of not wanting them to be apart of the family. Years flew by with this torment, no matter how much your pleaded, begged them to realize that you would never do any of that. They never listened, and the breaking point came when you finally realized that nothing will ever change. It will always be her, not you. So, the first chance you got you left that house. Best decision you could ever make. The small cramped apartment might be a drastic change from your lavish bedroom, but you were away from them. You wanted to turn a new leaf in this small city and have a normal loving life. Who knew that you'd be living a life far from normal as a horror circus rolls into town and you catch their attention when you saved their quiet Pierrot. A retelling/reimagining of Poppy Playtime based on the events of the main video game (so far). The story follows a young adult man in his mid-to-late 20's by the name of Cameron Wallace, who interned at the Playtime Co. toy factory over a decade ago as a teenager due to his father, Patrick "PW" Wallace, working there as well. After the mysterious disappearance of the staff just days after he and his father left, Cameron receives a lead over a decade later that his former co-workers may still be alive but trapped within the factory. Following the clues left to him, Cameron returns to the abandoned Playtime Co. factory once more to see if he can solve the mystery of what happened on August 8th, 1995, as well as what was going on within the factory that led to his father's suicide years after their departure from Playtime. (This story, like the original game, may describe unsettling topics. Take caution while reading.)

What if the player found someone sleeping inside the factory? What if that person is someone from our world and they realise they're stuck inside a popular horror game? What if they need to help the player beat the game to return to her original world? What if she only has the clothes on her back, a magical Mary Poppins bag and a strange hologram that gives her a choice? Will they both survive?

"What a strange man...." I thought as the Doctor ran toward the houses on the other side of the road, cars honking at him as he dashes past. Then again, who am I to judge; I'm not particularly normal either. A sweet but passionate romance begins to bud from the instant you see that ridiculous (ly gorgeous) man stride out of that seemingly invisible-to-the-rest blue police box. It's not too slow-burn for all of you impatient readers! But don't worry, it doesn't feel too rushed either! In this story, Y/N is a new sixth form student who is a few months into her courses. (I added specific subjects, but you can alter them as you wish- this applies to any other specifics I added. I only added them to build her character a tad ♡) Probably should mention that in this timeline, Rose Tyler didn't exist, nor anyone after her that coincides with my storyline. I love her, but she just didn't quite fit with the narrative ♡ A little cool thing to mention is that all of the images I use at the start of each chapter give a little hint as to it's contents. It won't give anything away, it's just easter eggs!♡
