And to make matters worse, she's just a human in the world of vampires, werewolves, and most importantly, the dreamers, in which she's been thrust. Or so she thought. Untrusting, mute, and unable to forget, Lumi is trapped. What happens when the captain of the guard makes it his personal mission to help her? Will Lumi, the lost soul find where she belongs and finally get her happy ending? Or will Lumi, scared out of her whits, succumb to the darkness that threatens to overtake her?

This is a SHORT STORY written by a good friend of mine code-named "THE DREAMER"

Book two of The Dreamer Series I thought my battle was over, little did I know how wrong I was. Now being threatened to be branded as a traitor, I am now to rot in this cell until they deem that I am no longer a threat to their precious society. I thought I was prepared for the trails that I would have to endure, but that was before the torturing began. Now sitting here in this cold hard cell, left in the solitude for my thoughts to run wild. I have to fight through the pain and struggle to define what is reality and imaginary. But some things are bigger than this because little did I had just entered the lion's den. Loyalty will be tested and the thin line that we perceived as good and evil just might be a little bit more blurry then we thought.

Birds chirping, kids laughter, peoples chatter - sounds I was hearing in the park on the way to my apartment. It's a lovely, sunny Friday evening but after a quite of a long and stressful workday, everything was just too much. I can feel my tummy growling. I can't wait to eat the leftover lasagna. A few hot guys ran past me. one of them dropped something - car keys. I picked them up and saw that they stopped at the parking lot that was at the end of the park.
