Hi, my names Candy. I am 15 and a sophomore in high school. I have never been popular or wanted by the hottest guy in school but my intelligence makes up for it. In my high school, there is a girl named Mandy Meyers. Let me warn you she is a spoiled brat. She messes with everyone except her minions. What will Candy do to stop Mandy from messing with her and the other kids at the school.

There is an empty seat that no sits in. If a new freshman tries to sit in it, they get bullied out of it. It supposedly will go to the "right" girl. Ethan Rogers made that rule up, the seat rule. But he is the most popular guy in North Eastern High. Everyone but his little entourage thinks it's a stupid rule. No one has sat in it for more than ten minutes for years. But will Hayley take that chance?

This is my story about overcoming labels that are given throughout High School. Everyone is remembered by what group they are in, who they hang out with, and what they do with those people. In this story of mine, I will also mention how I realized why I had to overcome these labels and what effect they have on people.

The DUFF Writing Contest It's hard to break out of a character you've been all your life in high school, and it's even harder when your parents expect you to follow those guidelines too. Now that I have other passions, I don't know how I'll be able to handle everything...
