Two former Legionnaires found fame and fortune helping the Dragonborn defeat Alduin. They were settled into their lives as The Thane and Housecarl of a rapidly growing Winterhold. When the Thalmor show up and threaten their home they realized they had a purpose beyond helping the Dragonborn fulfill his destiny. They had a destiny of their own.

This is not, and will never seem like a good idea to me, but being Irish I thought I'd do it anyway. This is a small collection of things I have stumbled across and/or pondered about in my time playing skyrim. Therefore it is here for you to read, ignore, despise, adore, or all or none of them combined. Being Irish has very little to do with this besides giving myself an interesting story name. In short: I like Skyrim, and I like the idea of writing to myself about it.

Note that this takes place in Skyrim, but not during the time we play it in. The main character is not a Dragonborn, but she's still powerful. [NaNoWriMo progress] Caught up in the turmoil of rebellion after nearly avoiding execution in Helgen, Aldria Wolf-Spear must search for her missing cousin and learn to fight to evade the Thalmor's assassins. Jarl Balgruuf's orders entangle her with the members of the Companions' Guild, including the grumpy-yet-handsome Vilkas. After all, who better to help slay the returned dragons scarring the land than a bunch of professional beast-slayers and brutes? She must prove that she can harness her startling new abilities and confront her fears to survive and, just maybe, end the terror of Alduin's return. Just don't make her venture down into a cave: she absolutely hates draugr. Story notes: I've taken a few small liberties in adjusting a handful of scenes, but they should follow the main quest line scenes fairly well. I'm writing this as more of an adventure/fantasy narrative, with a bit less focus on romance, but there will be a payoff to reading along the adventure. Also, doesn't everyone love how grumpy Vilkas is? Author note: This is my first time writing fan fiction, so please be kind. But I do like constructive criticism. I'm not new to writing, but I'm new to writing about an existing fantasy world.

This is a story of one lost soul in the Land of Tamriel. Making lots of bad decisions and joining the wrong people, eventually he was going to pay for it dearly. He had grown up with the wrong crowd and he will find a way to get back at those you wronged him in the past.
