In a Middle Earth where Erebor and Dale still stand, things are occuring deep within the Elven realm of Northern Mirkwood. As soon as two elves leave the touch of the Elven fortress and embark on a journey to escape the grasp of their fellow Elves, sinister things happen within the Mirkwood walls. A new leader is brought to attention and all that leader wants is for the lost Elves to return, at any cost. DISCLAIMER : I have added new characters that has never been mentioned or described in Tolkien's novels. The newly mentioned characters are my own creation and I have independently created their characters and appearance. (Simple Sindarin phrases are used often.)

Summary: Arden was a Wood Elf from LothLorien, his Father was an Elf Lord whos land guarded the rest of Middle Earth from the darkness of Mordor, but it and its Lord was destroyed by Orcs when Arden was an Elfling, the Elf Kingdom South East of Mordor and the great River Aduin. It was called Núr Gwathren. - Deep Shadow - or its longer name Othrond -o núr gwathren - City of deep Shadow. - He was soon taken in by Lord Celeborn and Lady Galadriel and lived in the Golden wood of LothLorien were he trained as a scout. When Lord Elrond calls on the Elves, Man and Dwarfs if Middle Earth to his Council Arden is chosen and leaves to Join the Fellowship. As much as i love my Elfling series i still want to write other books with different characters my own and from the Movies.

As a Bender of great power and strength, she was an obvious choice to become Frodo's protector. She was a seemingly fearless warrior, which gave her an edge. Ara expected the journey to be simple; she would protect Frodo, or die doing so. She was used to similar situations. But she didn't foresee that she would be facing the doubt of some of her commrades, past demons, and tragedy. Ara would give her life for any of the Fellowship.
